About the Author

Susan H. McAuslan M.Ed. NBCT

Susan McAuslan has dedicated her life to working with children and parents. She developed the website, spiritkid.org. which is devoted to the well-being of children. Parents learn to support well-being from a spiritual and energetic as well as practical point of view. She teaches strategies to support the balanced integration of the mind, body and soul.  Spiritkid, the book, will be published during the summer of 2018. 

Susan has extensive experience working with students and parents. Before she retired from her school district, she developed and presented numerous workshops for teachers and parents. She spent 19 years working as a classroom teacher, a reading specialist and a parent educator. 

Susan is a Reiki Master and practices Tai Chi/Qigong. She enjoys painting in both watercolor and acrylic paints. Currently, she is the chapter leader of a Dining for Women group in Scottsdale, AZ.  

Her undergraduate, degree with a major in sociology, is from Western College, Oxford, Ohio. Her master’s degree in education is from Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona. She is a National Board Certified Teacher as well as a Reading Recovery Certified teacher.

She is married to Steven Frohman, a professional speaker and business consultant. They live in Scottsdale and Sedona, Arizona and they have five adult children and five grandchildren.
